2.
Yes, after clearing GATE examination with good score you have to apply for IITs
separately.
3. Out
of all the applications few will be selected by the examination department of
that particular IIT.
4. If
you got selected amongst those students you will be asked to again appear for
an examination that will be conducted by that particular IIT. Apart from the
examination personal Interview can also been done.
5.
Once you clear that examination or personal Interview then, get ready to become
a part of IIT of your choice.
This
was how a candidate get selected for a particular IIT but what would be the
difficulty level for the individual examination and personal interview done by
the IITs? Those examination and personal interview is based on the GATE
entrance.
The
aim of personal interview is to check out whether the candidate is smart enough
t be a part of that IIT. Difficulty level of the examination and personal
interview depends on the IIT.
Difficulty
level is more old IITs and less in new IITs. As IIT Delhi is one of the old
IITs then we can expect higher difficulty level from this IIT. But I guess
those who have already cracked GATE entrance with good score for them it is not
so tough job to clear the individual examination or Personal Interview.
