Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has issued the revised notification for Direct Admission to Second Year for the year 2014. Students are invited to submit application form through online mode, document verification & confirmation of application form for admission to Direct Second Year (DSE) of four year full time degree courses in Engineering/Technology in Govt. Aided and Unaided Colleges for academic year 2014-15.
Admissions will be granted as per Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) rounds. Candidates are required to fill in desired colleges during the CAP round. CAP result will be based on Merit List. Total of THREE CAP rounds will be conducted, out of which, in first TWO rounds Candidates will fill fresh Online Option forms for respective rounds and Third round of CAP shall be conducted by way of counseling only for the eligible Maharashtra State candidates.Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission through CAP round. Eligibility Criteria for Admission through CAP
- Candidates applying for the CAP rounds must be Indian National.
- He/She should have completed Diploma Course in Engineering/Technology with at least 45% marks form AICTE approved institution with English as the medium of Instruction.
- Candidates passing B.Sc. degree from recognized university with at least 45% marks and having passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject in English medium are eligible for DSE admission.
- Candidates belonging to Backward Class categories and PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra state must have scored at least 40% marks in Diploma or B.Sc. Degree from UGC recognized university.
How to Apply?
1. Candidates shall purchase Application Kit from nearest Application form Receipt Centers (ARC). Candidates need to pay in cash for buying Application Kit.
General Category – Rs.500/-
Reserved Category & PWD – Rs.400/-
2. Candidates should fill the Application form Online by login to DTE website.
3. After filling the application form candidate should sign on the printout of online filled Application form and attach the required attested copies of documents.
4. Candidates should submit the application form personally at the ARC. Documents will also be verified at this step. Applications sent by post /courier will be barred.
Note : ARC will remain open on all days including holidays and Sunday upto 5 p.m.

= Diploma/B.Sc. Marksheet for each attempt in Final Year/Sem
= Leaving Certificate
= Certificate of Nationality & Domicile
= Caste Certificate
= Caste Validity Certificate
= Income Certificate
= Non-Cremylayer Certificate for OBC
Note : All the copies of documents must be attested by competent authority.
