BSF 2014 Recruitment

Border Security Force (BSF) invites application from young and aspiring candidates for the post of BSF Engineer for the year 2014. The application should be sent before 10-02-2014. The details are given below.

Pay Scale : Pay Scale is between Rs.9300/- to 34800.

Physical Standards

Height : 165 cms for male candidates and 157 cms for female candidates.

Chest : 76 to 81 for male candidates, for female candidates the category is not applicable.

Weight : candidates both male and female should weight proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

How to apply

Candidates should fill the application duly and send the same to the nearest center before 10-2-2014. For the candidates living in flung areas an extension of 15 days is provided. The application form can be downloaded from the notification.

Fee Details

General/OBC : A demand Draft or postal Order of Rs.50/- is to be sent to the required address given in the notification. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/BSF/Ex-Servicemen are exempted from fess. 

Selection process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam which will be of 100 marks. The candidates passing the written test will undergo Physical and Medical Test.
