SAIL ISP Recruitment 2013 Notification
Steel Authority Of India Limited (SAIL) is a Central Govt owned organization. With total turnover surplus of 50,000 crores is India’s biggest steel manufacturer company. It is nominated as one of the seven Jewell of the country’s Central Public Sector Enterprises.
SAIL has issued notification for recruitment in its IISCO Steel Plant, Buranpur, West Bengal. Applications are invited for the non executive post of Operator cum Technician (Trainee) and Attendant cum Technician (Trainee) in IISCO Steel Plant. Candidates all over India can apply for the desired post.

Education Details:
1. Operator cum Technician (Trainee):
Candidates should have completed Diploma in any of the following disciplines from recognized University. Following are the branches Metallurgy, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics and Instrumentation, Chemical, Ceramic.
2. Attendant cum Technician (Trainee)
Candidate should have completed ITI in any of the following disciplines Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Machinist, Turner, Turbine Attendant, Fitter, Instrument Mechanic from recognised University.
Eligibility Details:
Candidates must have age more 18 years and less than 28 years as on 01/10/2013. Age relaxation will apply to reserved category. For SC/ST age relaxation is of 5 years. For OBC age relaxation is of 3 years.
Candidates should bring their final examination Marksheet at the time of interview for conformation as Diploma holder or else they will be disqualified.

Selection procedure
Candidates will be called for interview on the basis of written test score.
How to apply
Candidates who wish to apply for the job should visit SAIL official website www.sail.co.in. They should click on career options and then click on ISP. Candidates should check their respective branch and then click on the link. At the last of the page there will be apply now option. Click there to apply.
Candidates should upload their recent passport sized photograph and signature lees than 500kb.
Fee Details:
Candidates can only pay through challan. The challan can be downloaded after successfully filling of the form. The challan need to be submitted at SBI.
1. Operator cum Technician (Trainee)
For SC/ST/PWD – fees is 50 Rs
For OBC/General – fees is 250 Rs
2. Attendant cum Technician (Trainee)
For SC/ST/PWD – fees is 50 Rs
For OBC/General – fees is 150 Rs
After the payment of challan candidates should confirm challan on the SAIL website and should download receipt of payment. This receipt should be produced at the time of exam along with challan copy of SAIL.
Training and Probation Details:
All the selected candidates will be put under training for the period of 2 years. After completion of training they will be put under S-3 grade and will serve 1 year under probation.
