About North Maharashtra University
After separating from mother university of Pune, The North
Maharashtra University was established on 15th of August 1990. Headquarter
of the university is located in Jalgaon (Maharashtra, India). It is having the
campus of 404 acres (Around 1.63 square kilometer) on the bank of Girna River. To
improve the natural beauty of the campus the substantial plantation has been
undertaken
The university got the rank of four stars in the year 2001
by the NAAC. Also the university became the ‘B’ grade university rank in NAAC
rank list.
In the university campus there is
separate hostel for male and female students. Staff quarters are also in the university
campus.
There are six floors for the
university library and it having more than 50 000 books. Library subscribes
more than 500 magazines in the reading section.
